Check-ups & CleaningOur team is devoted to addressing any dental concerns you may have while also prioritising preventive care to safeguard your oral health in the future. We emphasise the importance of regular check-ups to maintain your oral well-being. During these appointments, we meticulously examine and professionally clean your teeth and gums, leaving your mouth feeling refreshed and vibrant. Your check-up frequency will be tailored to suit your specific needs, and we’re more than happy to assist you in scheduling your visits.
Should you have any concerns and wish to consult with one of our dentists before your scheduled appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. If you prefer to have a companion present during your examination, kindly inform us upon your arrival, and we will happily accommodate your request.
We like to make things simple and easy to follow for everyone. As such, our comprehensive approach to dental care in Thornhill Park has been broken down into several stages:
Stage 1: Full Assessment
During this stage, our dentists will address any oral health concerns you may have. A thorough assessment of your teeth, gums, mouth, and the surrounding facial and neck tissues will be conducted, taking into account your general health, dental history, and lifestyle habits. Part of this assessment also involved an oral cancer check. X-rays and scans may also be performed if required.
Stage 2: Identification of Significant Issues & Discussion of Treatment Options
If our dentists detect any issues requiring further treatment, they will discuss them with you in detail. You will be informed about the benefits, risks, and procedures associated with the treatment options, and a personalised treatment plan will be developed. We don’t judge, and we understand that everyone is in a different life situation. We’re here to work with you to create a plan that best fits your goals and circumstances.
Stage 3: General Maintenance
To uphold overall oral health, we recommend procedures such as scaling and polishing of your teeth and gums, airflow stain removal, and/or topical fluoride treatments periodically. This will be discussed by your dentist as part of your ongoing care.
Stage 4: Guidance
You will receive advice on optimal oral health practices and recommendations on the frequency of future dental check-ups to maintain your oral well-being.
