Braces

FAQs

What are braces?

Braces are orthodontic appliances used to straighten and align teeth, correct bite issues, and improve overall dental health and aesthetics. They consist of brackets bonded to the teeth and wires that apply gentle pressure to move the teeth into the desired positions over time.

Who needs braces?

Braces may be recommended for individuals with various orthodontic issues, including crooked or crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, overbites, underbites, crossbites, and misaligned jaws. A consultation with an orthodontist can determine if braces are necessary.
